Tuning for unregged 12grams...
I have a '98 Sniper II that I was wanting to run on unregged 12grams. What spring combination do you guys use to maximize velocity/efficiency? What other after market solutions exist for making Snipers run better on 12grams?

Il just go ahead and use this thread.
I want to run my sniper that I bought from wunderbread on unregged co2 also.
Im going to be running constant air though, no 12 grams..efficiency isnt VERY key.
I want to run a light main spring for the sake of pump stroke.
Should I simply use the valve spring that allows for correct velocity with the mainspring I want?
Are there any good sources for Sheridan springs..this is an earlier model. Does it need sheridan valve springs, too?
Last of all, would a higher flow valve help me run unregged co2 with a lighter mainspring.

to be honest changing the hammer spring doesn't really make a sniper much harder to pump. Its not really noticeable.
We at MCB are lucky we have guys like
AmericanPaintball his store that carry sheridan parts. look under the wgp section it has all the springs you will need as well as valve body and cupseals etc.

If you run unregged you'll have to deal with a harder mainspring (and pumpstroke) for consistency as well as efficiency.
If you want the stupid light (farting) stroke then just use a reg.
