Kp3 velocity

So I received a Kp3 today, used and in rough shape. Everything I do doesn't seem to adjust the velocity. Tried the reg and rear velocity screw. Even tried an Ion reg. I've taken everything apart and cleaned it. Any suggestions?

A reg set on what PSI? (650+ is preferred,if any reg is used at all)

do the balls fit snug in the barrel?(if not.. find some)

has is been "tuned" by anyone.

I would say make sure the lower tube where the hammer travels, and the hammer are completely free of any dirt/dried paint. Just a tiny speck of dried paint can have a big effect

Well, fixed the issue. Apparently the asa is bad. Switched it out and we're cooking now! Thanks everyone.
