Most Reliable Intimidator Generation?

What generation of intimidator, including the protege/vice and G6R, would you consider to be the most reliable and why?

I would say either Gen 5 or 6. Gen 4's aren't as reliable because of the balance valve. Gen 1-3 are reliable, but a pain to take apart if you were to have a problem.

id say G6r, Ive beaten the crap outta mine (had 20 cases before I finally even cleaned and lubed it) and it just keeps on a rockin. Its been simplified and made so that if there is a problem its quick and easy to get to and fix. 2nd best Id say is gen 3's, but if needed to get to certain parts, it can be time consuming and a complete pita.

No, they are just fine. I was with the other folks until I traded for one. After a full rebuild & cleaning, 10 minutes over the chrono, I had it on par with my Alias. Given I could tune the alias (well gen 1-3) blind folded, its the same system. Just has a slightly different poppet setup. Which causes it to have a smaller window of tuning. Then there is the middle poppet oring, either a wee bit of supper glue or the later poppet fixes it.

I would suggest going over to IOG & searching my post for balancing the regs.
