Mar where in Ottawa are you coming from? This place looks to be actually closer than downtown Montreal. So it would probably be at most be a 2hr drive from the central Ottawa area (i.e. downtown and surrounding suburbs).
I live in the Hintonburg area (mechanicsville, downtownish) I wonder if I google mapped the wrong addy?

I bet you googled the address in Montreal, not St. Laurent (which is where it really is). The Montreal addy is way on the east side, i.e. further away from Ottawa. SXC is on the Transcanadienne/40 NW of downtown, so closer to Ottawa.

I'm actually going to be staying in the Hintonburg area for most of my holidays (maybe we should get an Ottawa game on the go). I checked the distance from there when I looked it up on google maps, so I think you did put the wrong address in, or maybe calculated for a round trip.

Mar, It's under 200km from Hintonburg. If you Google map it with just the postal code (H4T 1A2) it gives you the right address.
Google maps says 191km from Hintonburg, On when I search.

I guess my Google-map-fu is stronger than yours! ;-)

well I for sure can't go too far off unless someone picks me up, I'm not of legal age to drive a car.

That sounds cool, I've never actually played at any Ottawa fields. I take it Paintstorm isn't all that great?

well, that depends on a few factors:

If you like bad service, zero to nil referreeing (minus Big Dick, good ref) and a pretty small field then yes it is good.

if you do not like these things, then it is not good....

However, in the desert a man will drink a muddy glass of water, if you get my drift.

Still no word on if we are playing, my friend may have failed to book it.... Stay tuned.
