This use to be the best weekend of paintballing of the year, but since an incident a few years happened on a forum (not MCB), it's now become the blandest. Nothing goes on, not even some random recball games

Oh well. Augest long weekend is now the "Best Long Weekend"!

A forum incident killed a weekend of paintballing ? Was it a specific event, or just a random get together thing ?

A comment was made a fourm and the field owner was somehow offended. Most people would take the comment and try to improve upon it. Nope, this guy decided to take it personally and kill hosting the best scenerio games in northern Alberta.

Basically the comment was on how there were no refs on the field at all during a scenerio. They were all hanging out in the staging area during the game.

My gameplan is to see how many of them I can sneak out of.

and boo that other forum. A good scenario is this wonderful weather would be welcome

I don't have a field I know of up and operating within a 3 1/2 hour drive. And if I'm understanding they only half 3 hours of walk on play.

I was planning on going with my friend, but now I doubt it. I'm pretty annoyed there's just nothing around.

Our local crappy (but nice crowd) field isn't going to be up and running this year, another local guy sold his airball field, the field about an hour away I can't find any information on, the one 2 hours away became "private" so the owner could focus on tournament play and practice only.

I'm pretty down on it this year, I'm willing to drive but not for 3 hours of play, or for maybe hoping the field is running.

That really sucks. Where are you from? Maybe some people on the forums can help find you a field closer by.

I know the feeling Jon. I drive some major hours to play at a commerical field too.
