Carter or NW Comp

WHat's the story here between these 2 guns. Is the pic in my avatar (I know, small) a Carter? I bought it in 1987 from what I thought was Carter machine. Ive been told its an NW comp due to the screw in the handle. I heard NW comps have serial numbers on the grip, my gun doesn't have any markings on the grip so is it a Carter.....Confused!

How about posting some better pics. Your avatar pic is to small and distorts to much trying to zoom but, If you indeed bought it direct from Carter Machine then it would be a Carter.

My Feedback http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/f...-feedback.html My link sucks. This is why I operate a CNC machine instead of program one.
