Finally put some rounds through her yesterday Really liked the feel of it, shot pretty straight considering we're having some wicked winds around here the last two days. Might be shooting a bit hot by my handheld chrono's battery was dead so, no way to test until I get to the field.

Was kinda surprised by no roll-out with some pretty small paint (BXS Blaze that I've been using with .683 backs on my other markers). Had to settle for a VL200 grav feed from Wally World since no one local had a 50 rounder, but its still lighter than having a forcefeed up top. Overall I'm really pleased, I definitely like the feel of it better than my friend's sniper that I tried a few times. I bought two cases for the weekend so I think tomorrow I'll be rocking my AKA5 or TM7 and then the Carter and/or TPX will be brought out once I get down to the last bag or two.

ITSPB-Rogue, welcome to the Carter fan club

You said; "something sort of called" to me about this marker when I saw it"... I know what you mean. There's something haunting about them.

It's my belief that Kukailimoku (God of war), who also reigned over woodlands and crops, and in various forms was worshiped by craftsmen in ancient Hawaii... Did indeed grant Earon with not only the gift to create remarkably fine markers, but something even more.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.

Well it shot great at West Point- only problem was the Marbs they had were like, .684 or so and since I was playing on the Japanese side, and shooting downhill, I had a lot of issues with rollouts... I coped by sneaking down the side of the hill and coming through a few brushy sections to slowly pick at the encroaching US invaders, and had a pretty good time.

The barrels on these things are removable right? I can't seem to get mine to come off, even with a strap wrench. I'd like to try the "nail-polish wedgit" trick as a temporary fix to the rollouts until I can get a tighter bored barrel from Carter Machine.... Other than that though, the gun is perfect.

You can do nail polish wedgits on a unibody by removing the internals and using a chopstick or kebab skewer to first gauge the depth and then apply the polish.

Also try using Premium. I got a case that fit my unibody Comp nigh perfectly. It [obviously] tends to run a little bigger then Marbs but it's great paint.
