Phantom spring kit question

Sorry for the newbie question but can someone please explain the different color springs that come in the rebuild kit and what they improve? Thank you

One is lighter and one is heavier (20% iirc.)

If it gets to cold you use the red one, (harder.) and if it gets to hot you use the blue one to get usable velocity.

Red main is like 5% higher than the stock one (silver) and the blue is 5% less than stock.

Exactly. Personally I can't get my velocity below 280 with anything but the blue one. :/

Are the springs in the rebuild kit equivalent to ones from a cocker spring kit?

No, not equivalent as in blue phantom = blue madman. but you can use them in an Autococker if you need to.
