Did anyone try out the new piston for the revolution?

The one with the o-rings around the shaft that you can remove or add to dial in fps air pressure.

I was using it until the whole system vented my 12gram a couple of times. When i took it out it looked like the o-rings on the shaft had expanded and caused the marker to vent the co2 cartridge.

It may be due to the weather and temp being below 50 degrees when i was using it but just wanted to see if anyone else may be able to help explain what happened.

Quick question I know it's gonna sound dirty but its not its a serious question.
1. Can you just finger pump it? Just pull with finger and not need to push it back into the forward position?
Basically like a trigger pull with the little finger pump thingy
