Hi I am new to this site but i have always been very clever when it comes to mechanical things i was thinking of making my phantom a semi if you ever seen the clear airsoft guns that have a reciprocating mechanism in it i was thinking if you had the right lenght for the stroke of the phantom u could make the gun a semi- full auto paintball gun with all the greatness of these great paintball guns any suggestions or risk takers let me know what u think

It's been attempted before (though through different means, generally pneumatic auto-cocking before). All ran into the same issue with the phantom design. They're breech drop nelsons... ![]() See the little step? At higher rates of fire the ball bouncing up that step leads to feeding issues. This is why all previous semi-auto nelson based gun used the bore drop design, as found on Line SI's, Trracers, Hammers, and others.
