Is the hammer supposed to be wobbly in the body?

I just got my first phantom. Took it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together. I noticed that the hammer sounds like it's wobbling around a bit in the body. Is it supposed to do what?

yes slightly, when I first took apart a phantom I thought this was an issue as well. It is
simply because before it was dis-assembled it did the same thing but you did not notice.

Thanks, I thought it was probably cuz I just didn't notice it before as well.

It depends on how far the velocity adjuster is screwed in. At the zero setting, it doesn't compress the spring, which allows the hammer to bobble around in there. It's completely harmless.

Interesting, I see.

Well after reading russc's post I realized I must have backed out the TPC somehow so I just screwed it in a turn. Now it's wobble free :). Will have to chrono it to see if it's shooting hot.
