TPC not fitting into Bolt

Thats my problem.

I think the start of the threads in the TPC are bent because it looks like I was actually playing with the marker like that (as in, I had set the velocity all the way OUT until the TPC came out of the Bolt) and didn't notice.

Also, I read in another thread that if I encounter jams due to ball breaks, which I did, that could be another bad sign. So, any ideas? If needed, I'll post pics. I would imagine it may just be a case of filing the threads down till it fits again, but I'd rather not do more damage

The TPC threads in through the back of the bolt, and goes towards the front. Do you have pics of exactly what's going on?

picture time!

I took a crack at trying to widen the beginning threads where the TPC enters the Bolt, but it didn't make a difference. It still won't thread going into the bolt.

Almost looks like the bolt threading is messed up or crossthreading or something.

Just get a new bolt and TPC. They're all fancy now with o-rings.

I did the same thing to mine although not as bad as yours.
Was able to repair the threads with a thread file but you might have to replace yours.
Don't think they cost to much.

New TPCs are I believe $9

Bolts I'm unsure. Maybe $20ish, if that?

Can't agree more. Our markers are cheap enough, and we spend so little on paint it's worth packing the spare gear.

I'm in the habit of bringing:
Pump arm washers (bag full)
Spare set of internals
TPC nylon set screws (several)
Hard line compression gaskets (at least 2)
Spring kit (valve, pump arm, weak, regular and strong springs)

I highly recommend picking up a new TPC with the o-ring. These no longer require the set screw, but can be used with or without. No more PITA mid day adjustments from the TPC unscrewing itself.
