Just got off the phone with Mike.

Apparently Mike is still struggling with the fact that the 12-grams are able to eject under full pressure, which is a serious liability concern. He is in the process of redesigning some of the parts, but this is an involved and time-consuming process. Bottom line... don't hold your breath waiting for a new CCI lever changer to be released because it won't be anytime soon.

Same update he gave me 3 months ago. He didn't seem jazzed up to work on these anytime soon.

Yeah, that was the vibe I got too. Seemed like it was becoming a hassle, and was more of a back-burner item.

yea, but back in the day, people and companies didn't get sewed over every little thing, so its got to sit on his mind that 1 accident could cause a lose of everything he has built up

I am still waiting for these I think they will be awesome though

This is the reason that CCI has been in business for so long only bringing out 3 markers. Mike has only brought out 3 markers since the beginning, The revolution semi, the phantom, and the new revolution thats it. But every one of us has had at least one phantom in our careers. We always come back for more, whether it is a new air adapter or a freak bored barrel.

I'm sure we will see a CCI lever changer but it will be in Mike's time not demands time. He will make sure it is how he wants it and feels comfortable with selling it. And that's that.

I'm no airsmith, but what if he designed it so the lever would depressurize the 12g, but you would have to twist the lever 180º to open a door that would actually release the 12g? I don't really know Mike, would he mind if I called him to suggest that kind of design?

Then it'd be as much of a pain in the *** to change CO2 as a dropout changer is.

Kinda defeats the point of a lever changer.

Don't you have to twist the dropout changer more than 180º though? The lever would minimize the amount of unscrewing needed
