Update!

Did remove the rubberthingy, and added teflon tape to the tpc.

*drumroll*

-WORKS LIKE A CHARM!

Did a quick chrono; 290 isch, 280 isch 290isch.

As i've taken it apart numerous times, i worked swiftly today.

Note to self: Remove the live 12g from the changer BEFORE fiddeling with the hardline nut. :-|

Quite a bang....

Thank you guys for the tips!
I'm a happy camper again.

I read from the beginning, as stated above the problem was that piece of rubber you removed. The end of the mainspring buts up against the backend of the TPC, right where that rubber washer was. It ate up space causing extra unwanted tension on the main spring. You were shooting so hot it ran the 12ie low enough, quickly enough to make it appear your velocity was good.

When you go to do "out of the box" set up on a gun you should use a bulk tank, you get less confusing chrono results by feeding it a steady stream of air(work to remove variables). I understand this isnt always possible, but I find I waste to many 12grams otherwise.

Stock class = 12grams and a stick feed. End discussion.

The rubber thing looks to me like it was a ghetto attempt at an o-ringed TPC substitute. And teflon tape must just hate me, because every time I tried to put it on the TPC threads, even the slightest edge left exposed by the set screw hole would strip it off.

For some reason he doesn't have a set screw. Thats the only confusing part for me. Thats why I asked if it was old, I don't know how long they were made without that feature.

I'm guessing someone switched out the bolt at some point for some reason.

Yeah, think so too.
I read all those threads before me, and one feature were the set screw, which i couldn't find.

And yes, it's getting closer to my vision.
I've built this clear hitmanmod, next mini project will be a clear stock.

Thanks again, guys!
