Pretty much anything's fine on a Phantom. I have a 14" stock barrel and a 10" Palmer's unported brass with wedgits that I use interchangably depending on how light I want that sucker to be.

The valve body in the photo is bobbed. A stock valve would be 1" longer and side tapped

You will need
A non back bottle valve body. Mike has a funny name for this. Just tell him you want the side tapped one.
Valve spring
Power tube assembly with valve nut
Hammer
Main spring
Bolt with tpc
Center feed sc body
14" counterbored barrel (for freaks)
Feed of your choice.

Im not sure just where a dsg length feed will line up, but it should be workable.

I think reaper was doing pretty much the same thing with a phantom.

[QUOTE=Crimson Death;2928891]So in typical MCB fashion I bought one of Dukie's phantom lever kits without owning a phantom.....

Ha, I did the same thing!

I'm still kinda stuck on this. Lever's going to be black (of course), but I'm sorely tempted to send it out and have it match-anno'd gloss gold with a gloss gold valve and body, like the Henry 'Golden Boy' lever action rifles.

Sorely. Tempted.

This is a really good idea, maybe a top ported valve with a 1/8 NPT coupler going to a CCI ASA with an asa lever changer in it? I personally was going to go for a tank in stock setup but not too sure how feasible that's going to be with the Winchester style setup.

A tank is possible if you bore out a channel in the wood and run a line to the valve. No clue how pretty that would look or how hard that would be either.

Also these guys are finally are making progress on a new valve for nelsons. 50+ shots from one 12 gram.
