There is a video of an earlier prototype firing over a chrono. I'll see if I can find and post it.

It felt like nothing fooling around with it during the swap meet. Playing with it would be awesome because your arms would never get tired of carrying it!

I am thinking about selling a couple of the Phantoms I made (I think I have 6 or 8 full sets without internals) to recoup the cost of my little experiment and would allow me to reinvest in a modified design more appropriate for 3D printing that I would then sell. I'm not sure how much to ask for them or how much interest there is in them but if there's anybody that would like to make an offer feel free to do so and if you desire I can put internals in it and ship you a fully functional marker. I hope this all makes sense it's a little past my bedtime currently.

Nice work! Looks like you did a great job getting the print quality so clean!

This makes me wonder if this could be a future for paintball markers as printing gets cheaper? Fields being able to cheaply print and sell field specific custom markers with endless parts swapping could be quite cool.

Especially considering the beating renters put on guns. Instead of having to trash one that someone bayonetted into the dirt and bent the frame, now you can just take out internals and put in a new shell. Who knows? I would like to have one just to do a durability test, I'm interested to see how they would last in the long run.

Even the barrel! Amazing! Was there any post-processing done to the bore? What machine and material did he use?

The bore is exactly as it comes off the printer. Shoots darts! Just as accurate as the stock aluminum barrel.
