ccm aluminum phantom barrels

Has anyone ever had an experience with/ owned a ccm aluminum barrel?
Is it any improvement to the stock cci barrel?
would a frantom barrel be on par with them?

I have shot a frantom and a CCM carbon fiber barrel. To me they shoot the same based on paint to sizer match. Although the control bore on the Frantom is longer than the CCM one.

I have one and it shoots well. It does help with fitting paint to bore size and roll outs.

It's on par with the stock barrel.

Peace

I was looking at these aswell but then I thought if I wanted to get a barrel with sizer options I would either get my stock barrel bored out for freaks or just get a Frantom II.

Another option is the new Deadlywind barrels w/ phantom threads. Best of both worlds, Carbon fiber goodness that takes freak inserts.

I know this is an ALUMINUM barrel thread. Sorry for all the CF references, but those barrels are so sweet.

no, this thread is for all barrel types, cf included. I was just wondering if it would be worth it. they have some for sale new on ebay. I was thinking about the fibur, but it would require a uc kit. I think i might buy a uc kit then a new barrel later on.

Get the Rainman UC kit. It is definitely worth it. Plus, it accepts CCM handles.

Deadlywind is supposed to come out with a CF barrel that you can use with the stock handle. I saw a post on PHOG that the stock handle version has a delrin sleeve to protect the barrel.
