Just built one, after finding this thread and deciding it was a fun, simple project... and i'm really curious what kind of psi is going into my matrixes.

If you don't need a multiple guage setup, this can be super simple. The Ninja slide check doesn't need any of the extra fittings, as it can go directly into an asa and the other end is already female for a guage. Costs more than a generic slide check, i think, but i prefer the minimalist look.

If you need multiple guages, just pick up a few QD's.

Agreed on all accounts. It is SO MUCH EASIER when teching a marker if you know where the marker should be as you set it up.

Wait a second. Thats my reg tester copied many times.

I want my royalties on that idea. I meet you once you check out my tech box and you copy my reg tester?? Sigh. I need to patent my ideas.

:-)

You know what is funny - the reg tester in JKW's box was one I made for him BEFORE I met you.

I think it is actually just that genius's think alike.

No e peen competitions.

The entire BLAST tech area, except for Terry was using my reg tester, I think in 04 or 05. I have to be honest, I borrowed most of that idea from one of the best innovators that received no credit, Brandon Lambertson. He had a reg tester like that except no interchangeable gauges.

Poor Brandon, he invented the two piece unscrewable barrel, using reverse threads in early 90's. Coined the term snatch grip. Designed the Ironman Matrix, designed the first DM4 ish bolt kit. Any everyone is making money but him.

It costs so much to patent **** that the little guy can barely afford to.

Brandon Lambertson. Anymore info on him by chance?
Just that if he's done so much for the sport, then he should be better recognized for it.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Bumping this thread with a question.

Can anyone kindly tell me where I can find a nice 0-1500 gauge for my reg tester? I already have a 2 inch Winters 0-300 gauge, but cannot for the life of me find a similar gauge in 0-1500.

This is what I currently have:

TechT has come out with a digital reg tester.

Unfortunately it's $150

Palmers sells 1.5" +/-2% Ashcroft gauges in 0-1200 and 0-4000 psi, would those work?
