It has almost never worked. Bought it for more that a year ago (preordered) but it stopped working after I shot just a few balls. I think I have to start fixing it. When I cock it and pull the trigger nada happens. No air puffs or anything. Any suggestions where to start ??? (yeah, I have a heat gun so I can deal with the red loctite)

Talking on the phone to people or shipping the gun, overseas. Not likely, this gun have cost me enough shipping and customs fees already. I have dealt with Mel previosly so I know so I know that they are nice people. I'll try the "removal of reg" trick now. I'll be back... EDIT 1: Removed the reg and the gun seems to work fine when I blow air, with my mouth, up the hole where the reg where. Faulty reg. Better start reading TF's manuals to see what to do. EDIT 2: Dissambled the regulator, lubed it very lightly with DOW 33 and put it back together again. Now the gun works. The big black piston might have been assembled the wrong way, I'm not really sure. Thanks for the hint Mar. Lotsa thanks for the manuals and videos goes to Talfucre.

I had been using the gun just fine for almost 4 months like this. He said it was a miracle that my gun even functioned. Where usually there is a little bit of slag where they are cut off a mould or something, mine had nearly as much slag on the "wrong end" as there was a bump on the "right end" (sorry I am not super technical) The point I am making is that there must have been a run of these made where there was a lot more slag than normal. That means that a few people must have parts that are easyier to accidentally install upside down. For the record. It was I who had reinstalled the piston upside down when I had done some regulator maintenance after using the marker for a year. | |
