| MCB Member | CCM frame compatibility question
Hey all, So the Westwood 'cocker I picked up on Ebay recently is a '97 body, meaning it has the non-threaded IVG that is retained by the beavertail screw. I'm looking at picking up a CCM minicocker AT pump kit for it with the frame and everything, and I know they have the beavertail that threads into the back of the frame, but I can't recall if there's still a screw hole there that will allow me to lock down the IVG. Anyone able to check one of theirs for me? Thanks in advance!

no screw hole, but you might be able to find a set screw that you could lock it down with then put on the frame, But then adjusting would be a pain.

Thanks for the reply! It would only be disassembly that would potentially be more annoying. The IVG has a fixed external sleeve with an internal worm gear that is adjustable from the back, much like a rex dialer. Hum, so I guess I'd need a grub screw...

Yup! A 10/32 grub screw is what you need!

it's getting a full rebuild: pneus, some of the internals, and anodizing. i figured i might as well have a pump kit done to match.

idk about the pgp question but for the westwood i would drill a hole so that you could remove the grub enough to dissasemble, would save u some hassle of taking the grip frame off every time.

no worries! and i'm sorry, i don't know if the frame holes or sear line up, or if the curve radius is even the same, for that matter.
