Its an on/off but after you turn it off you need to fire a shot or two to release all the left over pressure. However a friend of mine, noclue119, his you just unscrew the knob far enough and it vents out of the hole in the ASA and relieves all the pressure...sort of like a CP on/off

The funny thing is my buddy got his s6.5 and two weeks later i received mine i think we figured out there was about 2-3 guns between mine and his. His doesnt have the new reg top on it and now i am wondering if he got the new ASA as well.

That might have more to do with the reg. When in the OFF position, you should be able to unscrew the tank. Degassing the gun is important to though.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Mine has the old reg top and the old asa. Mine does vent. It vents into the rail.

We will let you know about how much easier it is turn on and off this weekend (If it doesn't rain)

Also my reg does not store an additional shot it completely vent the air out (I just tested it).
