Carbon fiber tips anyone?

Ok so I have made some calls and put together some suppliers for a carbon fiber tips for ccm sizers. I have yet to hear back from Mel to get the go ahead but figured I would ask before I pestered her further.

So the carbon will be made by the co. that supplied CCM with the stock. I have a local company turning the alum. I will have them sent out for anno and assemble and ship.

Anyhow the price is looking to be around $95 each + shipping. I wanted to see what you guys think. Kind of pricey but it is want it is. So if you think you would be interested post up.

Im thinking 11" long and doing a gloss black anno. With an unassemled unannoed option, would be cheaper.

Also I would need to be a preorder as I dont have the funds to cover the costs. We would need at least 25 to make a run.

I think an assembled but un-anodized option would be the most popular. For me at least.

Hmmmm, interesting.

Is it going to be the same style as their old carbon fiber barrels?

Well to be honest not reall sure what they looked like. But we can work out the style if we go down that road. The CF would be the same. Not sure on the color I can talk to the supplier and see.
Could do a unannoed assembled. I just can do several colors of anno it would drive costs up.

Why not just call Stiffi and order switch kit fronts? They thread right into the CCM sizers and look damn sexy. That's what I got for my J2L and full CCM sizer kit.

The barrel on the far left is the old CCM carbon fiber barrels. Nice barrels. I wouldn't mind getting another style to work with the same backs.

I don't think hacking down a CF barrel is as easy as hacking down a aluminum barrel...
