That is the thing that has created a lasting relationship with CCM. I used to simply do reviews for the Pumpenstein Blog - and then I started making 'How to' threads on the CCM markers I owned.

One day I made them into a manual. At this point I had talked to Mel and Rod a lot and loved those guys. Bill contacted me and we talked a lot. I started testing stuff for them and giving reviews of it online. They appreciated the fact that I didn't pull punches - if it didn't work - I just flatly told them that.

So every now and again I would get a prototype in the mail that I was to test. Or a new marker in the mail that I was to write a manual for. I retained my separation from them as I was simply writing them for CCM markers - but not to be owned by CCM - and they got good feedback from me as well as a decent manual.

One day I was talking to Bill that I wanted an entire Marker hard annodized - but the problem was that Hard Annodizing (clear - which is actually a little green) is not consistent from piece to piece (depending on what aluminum each piece was made of). Bill had experimented on this process and had a Series 5 body sitting about. He sent it to me out of the goodness of his own heart.

Read the 'thank you' thread. It is filled with things like this by Mel, Rod, and Bill in general to take care of their customers and friends. It is what makes companies like them (and others who do the same - CCI comes to mind) special.

I appreciate and echo all that you do and said TF. You did a lot for the pump community for writing and producing the manuals and happy you got blessed!

There is just something so special about the folks at CCM. The company is more than just pushing a great marker for a quick sale and abandoning customers to figure out how to fix the marker when it breaks. What makes CCM a great company is the relational approach they take towards customers (or towards anyone for that matter).

When I think of CCM, I hear the names of Bill, Lori, Mel and Rod. You never feel that your question is stupid. They’re always there to pick up the phone to help or serve you. and make you feel like you are somebody. The amazing thing is they counted as their joy to help you and don’t make you wait. To me the company is not ordinary but extra-ordinary because they complete themselves by putting so much attention in the area of doing what is best for the customer. Way to go CCM!

The style with the two hole (spyder) design is the one that I like the best. Absolutely smoking. I guess the threaded collar style is a worthy alternative

Sick guns guys, the gloss black one is acceptionally attractive. I agree with all of what TF has said, I have ersonally only hung out with, and talked on the phpne with the staff of CCM a few times, but they are acceptionally good people and really treat thier customers, and paintballers alike, like they have known you for years. Seeing them at SPE, and PP were definetly highlights of all my paintballing experiances.

I didnt really follow the SCFT thread admittedly as i knew it would make me want to spend more $, looks like i missed out on a good thread.

OH MAN, the red one popped up as i was posting, that one is also gorgeous. All of them are, but i dig the gloss S5 bodies, i have one set up as a mech.

I got to shoot Brandon Catetano's back before they were released, and being that I have always loved RF guns, I returned the next day with the cash! I never could play with a sniper unless it was a RF. I'm going to be buried with this gun! It's custom laser engraved to boot!
