I'd sand it lightly with 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper until it comes out and then polish it.

i have an ans valve that did the same thing. valve pin won't come out of valve body because the tip of the vavle pin gets stuck. probably has a slight deformation to the tip and just needs some sand paper to get it round again. chuck the cup seal in a drill and pinch some light sandpape on the end of the valve stem to see if that makes it round again.

Thanks guys. It had a slight lip around the edge of the valve pin. Clamped the other other end and threw it on the drill with some fine grit on the end to take the edge down and then finished up with some jewelers rouge. Thanks.
