Willing to accomodate?

I've been tossing around the idea of joining the CCM family, but I would like to know how accommodating to special requests CCM has been to you guys that have had them.

I think I'd like to pick up a 6.5 but I don't want any reg or barrel. I know I've also seen some right feed guns and was wondering if they would be able to make my gun's feedtube so that I could mount a Planet Eclipse/MacDev style feed to it (not a fan of the screw tab method). Might request a raw, polished body too. You guys think I'd have any luck?

A marker made for you without a reg and barrel? yes. Every other request, probably not. Either way, the answer to every single ccm question is to call the shop...

think barrel is the only option you can opt out of.

Just take a black reg and sell it off if you must.

They will not sell you a raw polished gun and you won't be able to get them to fabricate you a special feedtube request. I'm not sure on the regulator request but I sincerely doubt it.

The two screw design actually works really nicely. With loctite on the two screw they don't loosen up at all.

1. the only option you can choose to not get is the barrel.

2. no, they will not change how the feed mounts. i only know this because i asked both mel and bill if they would consider making me a right feed 6.5..

3. no raw bodies are sold. it has to do with the lifetime warranty they include with the purchase of a new gun.

from what you're describing, you'd be better off getting a used one, selling the reg, and then annoing the way you want to.

Why don't you get a T2 with a right feed top tube.

As for the Screw tab method you can use a lot of feedneck bands that are different that give you the MacDev/Planet Eclipse style clamp. i.e.: Amazon.com: REDZ ION IMPULSE CAM LOCK FEEDNECK PAINTBALL: Sports & Outdoors

Everything else is just a matter of selling the pieces.

They only sell guns with regs due to them being functional out of the box to avoid issues of "CCM sold me a gun that doesn't work!" Issues and the same goes for raw, some surfaces would wear prematurely and CCM is very strict with their fit and finish on every marker, so selling one raw would just not work in their favor. They need to maintain their great reputation.

I have never had any issues with any style of CCM feed neck.
