I can't wait to shoot it on the field. Backyard plinking isn't satisfying enough. I've not shot with that setup yet. I just threw it together a moment ago. The front of the kaner has a strange opening to vent air, I don't know how that'll affect the FSR.

Agreed. You and I are going to have twins by the time we're all done. I'm stalking a set of 2nd gen MBUS's right now. I still kinda want a Daniel Defense rail system, but this will definitely work for now. I was having some trouble keeping everything lined up before, but a little bit of blue loctite seems to have that sorted out.

That thing looks amazing with the woosh by the way!

That FS mag is pretty awesome Bill, I may have to mount up my Dukie FS mag somehow. Actually, now that I think about it I have a picatinny flashlight mount that would be perfect though a little heavy.

Awesome. Thanks for the idea, Bill.

ETA:
This is the mount for anyone wondering. Solid piece of gear, I've had it since 2003 and it's been through OEF and OIF without ever letting me down.

I don't have picatinny on my forearm or any mounts.

So, I went to wal mart and bought a 22 tasco scope ($6.97) because it had 3/4" rings.I used an old ruger 10-22 base and drilled and tap my tube.

Here is mine. I used the Tiberius flashlight mount and the rubber bands that came with the R7 Picatinny mount (tacticle flexible spacers)
