Sr1 - 101

I have been adding bits and pieces about the SR1 in a number of my blog posts so I though I would pull those things together and add them under one thread. I still have one additional video of Bill explaining the internal operation of the SR1 using a cutaway model and I will adding that video to this post in the near future.

First is a video of Bill showing how to put together the SR1. The photo below is the starting point for the video and shows the parts that Bill will use in assembling the gun.

Here's the video:

Next up are the cutaway views of the SR1 showing its internal parts:

As I said at the beginning, I will be adding in another video of Bill talking about about the internals of the SR1 using these cutaways. Coming soon.

So - you use a long allen key to change the velocity? The IVG is inside the hammer?

Yes, and the adjustments are the opposite of every other CCM. In is lower and out is higher velocity.

I am glad you brought the cutaway pics here to post up. They are really neat to see. The guts in these are pretty sweet, still a cocker platform in essence but different. I still cant get over how cool the reg and valve assembly are being one unit that pops right out.

Buy one, take it to West Point, enjoy, use it for regular paint at the field, just use it to scare small children, something like that

Buying one right now is a bit on the difficult side. That gives you more time to lobby the local field to allow (or provide) First Strikes.

That's what YOU think!

Pretty sure if I offered Bill $10 grand for an SR1 I could have one in a month or two
