So I have a question. Will the next run be Cocker threaded, or will we still need an adapter? From what I have heard, When using the adapter and a backer for a HH barrel, there was issues with shells not being able to feed. Will this be an issue, or did I hear something wrong? I ask because I am interested in getting different barrels to test out to find my perfect one, but I want to make sure that any barrels I get will work with and without using the shells.

Speaking of shells, how would someone go about procuring shells for this magnificent piece of engineering awesomeness? ^_^

Even the guy you hit won't be able to share in your excitement.

If you shoot a case of paint in a game. This gun is NOT for you.

Just thinking about it,you can be on the front line with your friends and they will be so pissed getting shot out while they are laughing so hard watching you get the crap shot of you. lol

Once again, this is not a paintball gun.
This is a dedicated First Strike single shot rifle.
You will be seriously out gunned if you don't change the way you play.

Of course if you don't play you can walk around the staging area and get a lot of ohs and ahs. That's what I do.
There no doubt about it, playing with the SR1 makes for a different game. At Supergame, I spent a bit of time at one edge of the field shooting through a 3' x 3' opening in a plywood building that fronted out on an open area that the CQB guys on my team were trying to cross. The building (measured by my rangefinder was 105 yards away. I was proned out shooting off a bipod. Did I actually hit anyone? Who knows. There were lots of players in that building and I was just too far away to hear whether there was a kill on their end. Getting kills wasn't what I was really trying to do. Every time I saw a mask appear in my scope I sent a round through the opening and watched the player duck back out if sight. When that player ducked, guys on my side moved up. There was nothing they could do about me because I was too far away to shoot. Eventually though they did a tank my way and that was the end of that position.

Your mindset must be to stay back from the front lines. I try to keep at least 50 yards between me and anyone from the other side. If you're comfortable playing like that then the this gun will serve you well.

Man I got mine and I am so excited that there WILL be a second run. This marker is so fabulous that Zack and I are really considering driving 10 hrs for D-Day once again, if only to field the SR-1.

As for front line, last D-Day with my stock class Redux I got 7 KIA's w/ one tube by charging an entire group bunkered down. What xcites me is the fact that I know he perfect spot for 100+ KIA's with out being detected. It would just rock to have a two man film group n action one shot at a time.

I might have to make the trip to D-Day one of these years.
