I am only talking CCM guns here.

A standard back block will not work unless it has been modified .

If I were to modify a back block and mess it up we could never color match. Even black and silver colors will not match. And that makes people very un-happy

Then the endless e-mails and phone calls of "will it fit a ? ".

We would never modify another manufactures gun.

We have discussed making a run of Series 6's with an ICS.

At this time it's just talk.

We really like the ICS . We just want to be sure we could support it if it became a reality.

and somebody will say:

"I don't care about the color". lol
Just sell the parts and let us modify our own back blocks (some of us can ).

If you look at the picture that shows the back block you can see a stainless steel bushing that the screw goes thru.

That bushing is also what the guide rod tightens up against. This system stops the threads from wearing out like they did in the Karni back block. The flats on the rod are also deleted. Those were always rounding out on the Karni .

Anyway, that bushing is pressed into the back block after the hole has been reamed. The press is about .0015 after anodizing. If you mess that up it's almost scrap. So a good drill press and vise and a reamer is needed just for the back block. If you want to get it right the first time. Then you could use your drill press to press in the bushing.

So yes it could be done.

Remember you can't have it anodized with the bushing pressed in it.

Yup, I got everything I would need to do the work, just no parts.

I'm pretty much finished buying paintball guns.

...I'd buy a second S6 for the ICS though.

I don't think CCM will release the ICS system, just like they won't be making mech cocker parts again

(I am hoping by saying this it makes them want to make the ICS so I can buy a few)

We’ll add it to the list of the rest of the parts to be machined that we need, need.
