s6.5 issue

Hey guys. I was playing today. And my fps would start off low and then go to 280. I pulled the reg off and noticed quite a bit of lube in between the reg and body. So I just tore it down and cleaned everything and littlely lubed up the reg. I was thinking maybe the lube got into the lower tube causing the valve to stick.... and the lower fps. This sound about right.?? I checked the orings and they all were in 100% working order.

Depending on how much lube and what kind you found when you pulled off your reg, you may want to look at your lower tube as well. But your guess sounds right to me.

I did pull the lowers and noted some lube not much on the hammer and a little more on the valve and pin. Wiped all down and replied lube to the valve. Shot in thr yard. No leaks. feels and sounded great. Need to wait til next week end to put it over a chrono.
