Now in Carbon Fiber* CCM Cram n Jam & CCI 15 Ball Feed...I got it to Work Together

UPDATE Ball Feed Now in Carbon Fiber*

With the thought that having my Carbon Fiber CCM Barrel and Carbon Fiber Pump Handle made by TJD10684;
I thought that it would be nice to have a CF Ball Feed to Match...

*Ok, it is Carbon Fiber(ish). Without the disclosure I guess I would be a Carbon Fibber.

Below is how I did it

I had investigated ordering actual carbon fiber tubing and making it a "REAL CF Feed Tube". I took the Short Cut, but at some point I may go ahead and order the real tube.

Instead, I ordered Carbon Fiber Applique. It is very realistic looking. I measured, then cut it to size and carefully applied the applique. I did it once and it looked pretty good but decided to do it a second time and I am pretty happy about the results. Cutting the long slits to view the balls in the CCI tube was a harder feat than I thought it would be. The crease is on the bottom and is barely noticeable.
I also Carbon Fibered the Extension from my ASA to my Ninja 45 Stubby.

We shall see what effect playing with the marker will have on the applique.

I got a Cram N Jam for my SS-25 and then I got a CCI 15 Round Feed Tube.
I thought that the CCI would "fit into" the CCM. I have seen plenty of pictures of what I assumed were the two of them "Happily Mated Together".

That is ALL the farther, that the CCI will go into the CCM.

The the Outside diameter of the CCI Tube will insert about a half inch into the Cram N Jam but that is it.
I dont want to mess up the Cram n Jam.
The Read "Spiral" portion of the Cram n Jam Screws out of the front that feeds into the body...but of course the threads to the CCI is "Fine thread" and the CCM is a "Course Thread" that will not screw together.
I have no problem with making some sort of modification of the CCI feed. I will cut it or crimp it or whatever it takes to make the two of them "FIT".

What do I need to do to make the two of them work together? I have tried taking the Plastic Feed end off the CCI and turning it around putting the end that is not threaded.

Please let me know how to make these work together? You guys are pretty smart, I'd really appreciate some of the Great Help and Technical Advice that I have become accustomed to here on MCarterBrown.

Thanks In Advance MCB!
Woods

It won't work. The ones you see with a metal tube were made by CCM.

Flip it around and take the feed cap off and see if that will go onto the cram and jam (the non threaded side) if that doesn't work just jam a tube in the cram and jam and put the cci feedgate on the end of the tube, it won't be a snug fit but then just put some electrical tape on it

I searched google images and found pretty much exactly what you stated. The old style CCM Feed will work with the CCI.

Just hopin' for someone that had discovered a "trick" to Make it happen.
PLEASE anyone who had an Idea.....

My local Ace Hardware supposedly cuts and threads pipes as a service. I think I will have the CCM threads cut onto the CCI tube. That should do it! I will post pictures of the results.

With some advice and some creativity, I got it to Work Together.

OK, I wasn't able to get the CCI tube threaded to match the CCM Feed as I had hoped.
I instead used a cutoff wheel and removed about three quarters of an inch of the fine threading off the end of the tube.
Then used a grinding wheel and ground down the fine threads to the point that the tube would go into the feed.
And the all I had to do to insure a snug fit was wrap the ground off threads with one round of electrical tape.

The tube fits in there SOLIDLY

When I get some time I will take it back apart and take some pictures of the cut and ground end to Show what I did more clearly.
