Ah, yet another thing to add to my list of ultra elusive guns to be on the look out for. Using a hinge for semi? now THAT is screwy

Ok,let me re-phrase that.I like a slider. On a semi Colt.45 autoya that's nice.

Many cocker guys prefer sliders on their semi auto's.

I do mainly because it is the design that the cocker is based on and a hinge frame (for semi's) is just an adaptation. The 4 way location and linkage should be redesigned to utilize a hinge frame in a better way. Since it isnt, sliders are best.

I didnt notice that that body was ribbed for my pleasure. And i was refering to that body.

I liked the one that you did smooth, but that had big cuts in the side to make it mostly a round body type gun, it was slotted too. Kind of an 8 shape. It was on ebay once.

The ribbed body was the last step before the final finish cut.I thought it looked cool especially around the feedneck so I just made a few.

Sliders are ok.I just fell in love with our new trigger. It is so simple and feels so smooth. From a manufacturing standpoint it's really nice and not as complex as a slider from a machining point of view.

not having a slider is the number one reason for me to pass up a cocker (eye holes is number two). On a sniper its less important, but anything semi has to be a slider. I simply turn a hinge into a blender.

That ribbed body is interesting.
