Auto Trigger Cam Slipping Out
 

I have a problem with the auto trigger cam slipping out.

I already went to the pumpenstein.com sight and followed the directions on how to set the undertravel screw. I've also experimented with different settings of the understravel screw to eliminate the problem.

The only other idea I have right now is finding something like delrin washers to shim in between the head of the pump arm set screw and lever to keep it in.

Suggestions?

I had that same problem and solved it by slightly tweaking "bending" the AT arm out just a hair so it very lightly pushed against the screw that rides in the pump rod. You dont even know it was bent unless you look closely at it.

Read the manual - you need to adjust the undertravel screw in the grip frame - that will prevent the walking of the cam and arm.

Yep, that's exactly what I did, several times over. It didn't solve the problem for me.

Superglue!!!

I found nylon washers at Home Depot and a couple of #6's work great. No more slippage. A fringe benefit is the ability to set the undertravel screw to play with the feel of the trigger.

Be careful that the washers dont make the AT arm rub on the body. Thats what happened when you used them on the SS-25's. Thats why I got to tweaking all my AT arms and Ive been doing it that way ever since.

i tape the side of my AT so it dont rub hahahaha

There is plenty of clearance with the fat 45 degree frame on the WGP 05 Superstock body that I have this installed on.
