cool, thats helpful.. I'll take all my pictures in a poorly lit room

seriously get the body milled... I'll do it even, its like what, 2-3 passes with a ball end mill? thats like 10min of work.

1/4" ball end mill, I do it in 4 passes with coolant.

Another option is to turn down the OD on the rod between the threads. So you screw the threads thru the back block, then it slips thru until you threads both the back and front at the same time.

He owns CCM. I'd bet he has $1 million plus in CNC equipment.

And the set screw method is what I do. Easy and it works.
