I was reminded of a very short-lived bunker system called BallWall (or something like that) and was looking for info or pictures on them when I ran across this sale page stating Bill is shutting down Bailey's Battlefield.

Below is a list of iteams for sale. I will be closing my field this summer for good. No more Panzer Attack. No more open play or private groups. I will be selling all my gear including, guns, goggles, tanks, bulk co2 and n2 fill stations, self service n2 fill stations,Props for big games, gp medium military tents with poles, radar chronies, 55 gallon barrels, plastic pallets, big artillary propany cannons, a 69 piece ball wall field. and more. below is a list and some pictures

I guess this is old news, since he says he'll be closing it "this summer", and we're in November. To me, it's a sad revelation. I've only managed a few games at Bill's over the years, but I had fun every time I went. And it's just sad to see someone who's been such a figure in southern Missouri paintball get out of the sport like this.




On a side note, what started this all was thinking of those Ball Wall bunkers. If I had any inkling of wanting to start a field, or even stock an outlaw field, I'd so pick up those Ball Wall bunkers he's got up for sale. They're thicker wall than chemical barrels and nigh indestructible. They'd last you forever.

Sad day indeed it was a lot of fun playing. Smakzone paintball is replaying there scenario OPERATION EMINENT STORM 2012 I'm headed there this year. Check out smakzone.com for more info

I had a friend who's since moved to Arizona that always loved the SmakZone scenarios. I'd like to go, but as always, real life > paintball, so I make no promises.

Hey, what fields are there in Springfield these days? I come down that way for work every once in a while.

Springfield has operation outpost theres also a new one in Lebanon called x marks the spot haven't been there yet. Ozark used to have a field but not sure on that one. If your in the area this summer give me a buzz well go sling some paint I'm going to be heading to the smakzone zone game with a buddy let me know if your in.

Yes, I was on one of the Army teams that won it all. If you'd like to play with my group, make sure you sign up for the Contra team at OES.

Yea that would be great will do look forward to it. Yep I was held up behind the baricade on the last game and got bunkered by you guys bad but it's all good it was a blast. Didn't break out soon enough and paid for it.
