I know the feeling...Central Florida is so-so really...which is sad we have great weather year round for it

I end up having to drive a couple of hours to get some more variety otherwise just the same 3 fields at about an hour from me.

Sorry I just saw this thread & thought I would chime in.

I live in Central Missouri. Unfortunately Kraus is right & there is not a lot of paintball fields here. However there is Battle Creek Paintball( http://battlecreekpaintball.com/ ) just west of Columbia. It would be about a hour & a half drive from the Lake area.

I would offer up a game but I'll be out of town in early July through September (military).

East of Columbia. I knew it had been sold but wasn't sure if they were still operational or not. I haven't been there since Perry went crazy back in 04-05.

It is a different field now down the street from the old location. From the pictures it doesn't look that great.

Last time I played there was in the compound. Me switching back and forth between a trracer and a P68SC vs. 4 young kids. No bragging rights to be had but it was fun and let their fathers teach them about moving up on the field.

I know it's late in the year but j & J paintball is in Marshall, mo (north of 70 near us 65, I believe). The owner is really great and starting in spring 2015 Mizzou's team will be practicing there.

I have seen a few advertisements for it & use to drive by it regularly but never checked it out.

I live in Columbia and it's definitely a deadzone. The old Battlecreek was a great field.

I've visited the NEW Battlecreek once to check it out. Have you ever felt like wearing your goggles IN the proshop might be prudent?

I haven't been back since.

IF it was a decent field then I'd be there every weekend (like I was at the old field).

If you make it to STL check out Xtreme. Quite a few MCB'ers play there and it's Total Greif's home turf.

The south central part of the state is definitely a dead zone for paintball.
