you could do this with just a 3 way in the frame instead of the smav right?

hmm... Not sure if a cocker 3-way would work in the frame.
You only need one input and one output for the Ram.

I figured that you'd put the line from the lpr in what would be the back barb and the line to the ram from the middle barb.

Yeah. I didn't think of that.
It should work but then you'll need it to return (a Spring etc.)

yup, on some 3 ways you can put the spring between the actuating rod collar and the body of the 3 way.

Well, now I know what to do with the SF frame I have lying around. I think I figured out how to do it already too

EDIT: I'm assuming the safety still works with that in there?
