threading a sl-68 II

Has anyone tried to thread one of the newer sl-68's? you know, cut off the barrel, tap it for whatever threads you wanna use? just wondering, i like them but id wanna be able to use different barrels.

Just get whatever other you barrel you like turned down to fit your sl68.

I thought they weren't threaded and didn't have a a removable barrel.

Their barrel is removeable it's just not threaded. I have a couple barrels that have been turned down to fit my SL-68's.

newer ones are same as the old

I wish they had made a barrel adapter for that to take A-5 barrels.
It would be easy to do. maybe some one on here can whip a few up.

i cut an old style angel freak down and made a slip ring to make it fit secure (and not look dumb) lil boreing on a new pump handle and woot freak back on the sl-68-II now i gotta fix that darn feed neck after snaping it .....anyone done this on the sl yet?what would work best? i have an old one
