Finally compledted is the second variant of my original "Widowmaker" FS rifle project. Based off an autococker 2K+, the body and backblock have been hand-milled [without a milling machine] for a conventional 4-step rotating bolt action. This is acompanied by an oversize bolt handle for comfort of use during extended games. The breach was also modified to accept the unique shape of the FS round. Widowmaker II features the following: JCS Voodoo tactical folding/sliding stock, custom brushed aluminum. CCI bucket changer, custom brushed aluminum. Custom pump arms, brushed stainless steel. Brushed aluminum trilogy trigger group. Folding bi-pod [with extending legs] 20" Smart Parts progressive barrel Authentic German Panzerfaust 4 Rocket launcher scope [Heinsoldt optic, SUPER clear] Please feel free to coment! Additions planed: Palmer's Stab Others???

If I would change anything myself I would open up the feedneck hole enough to let you use FS rounds if they don't already fit. You might not want to use them now but if the price comes down on them in the future you might change your mind ![]() Other than that a nice clean job, looks great. |

I actually did open up the feedneck considerably to allow the FS to fit. I designed he entire project around using the FS round. It shoots as good as it looks, if not better. = ) If i could find another raw aluminum trigger frame for it... i would snap it up in a heartbeat. the trilly frame doesnt fit my hands quite right...

Nice work, I like it. The lever looks like an Art Carr shifter knob.

Looks real nice, my only question is how is the consistency using 12 grams instead of compressed air?

its not really the greatest... thats why ive been looking for a palmers stab, or some other kind of male regulator for relitively cheap... this is actually undergoing yet another facelift, so keep watchin = )

Nice work! I like the look. I'm inspired to make one now and I have too many projects already. I've wanted to build a sniper for FS rounds for some time now. I want it to be bolt action but also want it to be clip fed, which tends to be where the valve needs to be. I can't decide on stock, M-16 grip or 357 grip. FYI: FS rounds track the rifling in Armson stealth barrels perfectly. You can get the FS round spinning before it hits the air. If you want more consistency use a 13cu in N2 tank or the 22 cu in tank. If you mount it horizontally and parallel to the barrel it would look like a fore grip. Kind of like the old PMI 3s Sheridan use to make. WWA.com has tank rings that you could use to mount the bi pod to. |
