Holy ****.

That was amazing. We also own the exact same rifle. I thought it was a winchester 1890, because of the takedown screw on the left side. These things are awesome! I like how they used a bent piece of metal instead of a spring to put presdire on the hammer and trigger.

Whats yours chambered in? It could be worth up to a grand and a half.

Wowowow, are you saying you own a Winchester 1890 or a 1906?

I've owned a 1890 as well as a 1906 before this one and all I can say is Browning knew what he was doing. I mean, you cant buy this kinda qualty any more! I REEEALY miss the 1890, such a fine rifle.

Mine is chambered in .22 S.L & LR. The first couple years these were made, thay were only chambered in .22 Short.

DUDE
I own an 1890, chambered in .22 short. It was like my dad's brother's cousin's uncle's grandfather's roommate's gun originally or somthing. I just replaced te pump and stock too, but i cheated. I ordered them custom.

Keys a short is about the length of a .22lr minus the bullet at the tip.

Cool, thanks if I measure the scar it looks like they were shorts then.

@Smith: Nope, when I was at the shooting range, one of the casings bounced off the wall beside me and pushed itself into my cheek between it and the safety glasses. The ironic bit is that if it weren't for the safety goggles I wouldn't have gotten the bad burn, it would have just bounced off me. I will not however shoot without glasses, since it's quite possible it could have been about 1/4" higher and 1/4" to the left and that would have put it in my eye.

Also I agree with Ti, pics or it didn't happen!
