Knightmare, that work looks REALLY good. If you can do this kind of work for reasonable prices, you'll have solid business from this forum alone!
If I can find an Intimidator clamshell frame, I may have to get a blue -> clear fade for this beast:

Very sweet fade job, I am afraid it would be terribly hard to match existing anno. My dyes are not cheap dyes, but so many factors play a role. I can match my own colors easily, but matching someone elses would be very hard. I do plan on offering some services once I get my own stuff done.

New Challenges, New Anodizing techniques
Well it has been another productive weekend, and I have had a little direction in doing acid wash anodizing. Basically using bleach and a sponge to bleach away a darker color and then put in a lighter color where the dark color bleached out.
A few challenges along the way, first of al organic sponges melt almost immediately in bleach, synthetic sponges melt after one day of use, too runny of bleachh runs down in the cracks too much. But regardless of those challenges I feel I had some pretty good results.
First up is a black and red acid wash body that I did:
Next is a black and gold acid wash:
Last acid wash I did was a black and orange. probably my favorite:
Finally I tried my hands at a reverse fade splash. The black didn't all bleach off well enough, but overall I got the idea down and it does look decent, would probably look better as a red to orange or something like that:
If anyone has any tips or tricks on acid washes I would love to hear it, I have learned so much in the last month, I am going to be working with some guys to document it all soon. We have some other things we want to perfect soon, but I am optimistic.
