There is a little to trim off, but nothing more than 1/8". I'm rather pleased with this setup. I have to have another form made for the other shell so I can make ine of each at the same time.

Lazy week due to a pretty tiring week at work.

But, a few nights ago I was making inserts for the mold of one of the parts. Will be making inserts for the other shell tonight or tomorrow morning. I need a box (form) made for the other shell and my dad is the woodworker. He was going to try to get that done by the end of the weekend too.

Hoping to have a productive and successful weekend with parts to show for it.

One more mold is finished. Another is in work. The second shell mold will be happening this week.

Dad had a busy weekend with an assn he is a part of, so he was at a expo all weekend. He will be making the form for the other shell mold, so I need his help before I can get to the actual mold.

Does it still utilize the motor as resistance? Im not really familiar with the clock spring mod...

And is there a possiblity of it being even more low profile if someone oh say put the clock spring mod a specially modified v1 prophecy?

In my loader, or in a Halo type of loader? In mine there is no electric motor, I prevent the spring from unwinding in a different way.

I know you may not give more info out but no motor means smoother and lighter... I can totally dig that!

The form for the second shell was finished last night. I have to turn the pins down on the lathe still, but that should happen tonight and might be able to get the first half poured. The first half has a lot of prep time that goes into it, so I don't know if there enough hours left in the day by the time I get home from work, but we will see.
