Sabre... Im taking you to court on lost sleep and damages

Just kidding... You were the final push on a long dead project lever action Spartan I was working on.

Marthon building I finished the trigger group and gun... it works with a mock lever. Now I have to make a stock then make a lever to fit said stock. Being Im off and its a cold and dreary NY fall day Im going to spend most of it inside messing with scrap oak

I'm almost embarassed to post my attempt at a lever action conversion. Found some sign board that had been sprayed up out in the garage, grabbed the dremel, and had at it. Not terrible for one night, and I can always go back to the bolt action.

Update

OK, so I figured that it was time to start making improvements on what is now my prototype..

First is an updated feed tube.. ya, ya I know "It looks likes the crowdbuster feed setup" Oh well it works and thats how I would have done it anyway. All aluminum with Delrin plugs and so far much cleaner than the last.. I'm still having probs figuring a good way to mount the feed tube.. OK well at least one I like.. A new body sleeve was created to fit the feed tube.

I still have the front clamps to build and clean things up..

The new trigger assembly and Lever will come next week when the rest of my parts get here..

For those that want a lever for this kind of project. I might be able to help.. I will be doing a set of levers from a water-jet facility in the near future..

Sweet. I like that feed gate design, simple yet effective. Planning on replacing that pipe strap at the muzzle with something else?
Now we just need a video of you twirl cocking this badboy.

I was trying to make a coupling for one of my markers and it was taking me ages to find something I liked: then I found these on eBay - 25mm/1" figure '8' scope mounts.

They may well work for you too - to connect the feed tube to the barrel at the muzzle end.
