Keep it Brass or Mixed metals?

Hey guys,
I'm working a late winter project and I'm trying to decide on a spring fed option.
I think I know where this will end up but I need some swing votes.
...then again, It may end up going a completely different trajectory if I decide to Freak it or go side fed. Or <?>

Option 1:
I fabricated back and front hooked-rails to which a Core ZX spring feed can be attached.
I intend to chrome plate the brass and contrast it with the black parts (frame, pump, spring feed)

Option 2:
Or I can keep it pure and solder on a 12-round spring feed.
I'm inspired by Chaz' arrangment. I would also Chrome plate it.

Update:

Widgets are in!
I punched three it so it holds small bore paintball perfectly. I'm very pleased with the results.

Instead of using a machine screw for the punch I custom ground a chisel tip.
My 12mm Socket was a little snug so a minute on the stationary sander made it fit perfectly. I grounded a flat section at the end of the socket to support the indentation inside the barrel.

I think I saved myself $60 ($30 + shipping from Palmers)

IMHO that Core ZX feed looks big and blocky on there.

Considering the frame is black either way, and you're going to chrome either way, I don't see a need to keep more brass. I think the black top and bottom would go well with the chrome.

i also agree with this, but i do like the black. would be cool if you did the brass feed tube, then get it powder-coated black but leave some areas of the tube bare so you can solder it on.
