The clippard valve used has a max operating pressure of 300PSI. anything over that and you risk blowing out the valve. The internal reg is supposed to regulate the input pressure down to 300PSI or less but depending on heat and humidity sometimes it can't. Running an external reg for most people has been the best way to get the Thumper to run consistently.

Here is where I'm stuck...

Trigger hold and releases striker. Hammer connects with the spring loaded striker.

The pin when pressed in releases the bolt. No CO2 leaks.

When put together the trigger doesn't catch the striker when the hammer brings it back.

There was an update to the little brass hanging piece that catches the hammer. Not sure which version you got. I could take a picture of it after work today.

Than would be great if you could. I don't think I can get an update since Metadyne went quiet but maybe update it myself.

best i could do. tried to pop that little pin out but it is in there pretty good and was worried about breaking the punch since it is so small. it looks like a little upside boot where the foot part is on top and the toes point toward the back away from the barrel

The problem with the earlier ones was they didn't have enough weight on the bottom to keep it in the right apot for grabbing the hammer. The hammer was updated from aluminum to steel since it was developing a groove from hitting the valve pin.
