| Active Member | Anybody have any CAD Drawings? I'm currently a senior in highschool and we have to complete a "senior project" to pass English. We have to learn a new task (build something, learn sport, etc.) from a mentor. I planned on machining and/or milling a part from scratch. My first idea was to build a marker from scratch but the realism of not having enough time nor experience to complete it hit me. Plus, I don't really trust my drawing dimensions of the marker I designed. The project has to take a mininum of 15 hours to complete. I already have a mentor lined up and he knows that I want to make a marker part. Now, I was wondering if anybody on here could help me out by giving me permission to use their drawing or point me to where I can find a drawing. I know that machining something takes A LOT of time, so I'm only going to make one part. I have a 'Mag, a Kingman Hammer, and a PGP. So, any drawings designed for those markers would be awesome. If you actually read all of this, thank you. I know a lot of people just turn away from larger posts like this. Any help would be appreciated. |

| My suggestion, PGP frame that takes .45 grips and has a more positive trigger "feel". Maybe like a 1911. A little thicker, a little more high-quality (6061 or brass instead of pot metal), a little fancier... Just look how well Sergison's K-frames have sold. Of course, his are incredibly well planned and well made, from what I've seen... Do you have access to the machines and tools you need? That is really the largest hurdle. I have plans drawn up for some NICE stuff, but it would cost me 2 grand (minimum) to run it off, as it should be NC machines to get these specs. |

| I can draw something for you in Solidworks for a PGP if you want (not a bolt 'cause my PGP has the PG bolt and my measurements probably won't match those on your gun), let me know what to draw and I'll try to do it this weekend. A custom pump handle would be neat but probably wouldn't be complicated enough to take 15 hours. EDIT: I have a 'mag too but it is set in a wood stock so I don't have a grip frame but I could draw up a rail or something... -OR-...I could whip up a trigger mechanism so you could set yours in wood... |

| I can make a custom stock that comes off the bottom of the grip frame. I can have it to you this Saturday.

| Yeah, make a complete run of relitivly simple parts, sell them , show up to class with a bunch of cash and show the teacher that you have learned you are an American. I love it! Anyway, I like to design parts as well, So I would be in to help if I can. Here is a link to the last little thing I drew up. A-5, X7 C/A adapter

| Active Member | Thanks for all of the responses. I do have access to all the machines, CNC, lathes, like that. It doesnt have to be exactly 15 hours, some people took over 60 just finishing what they started. I just don't want to jump into something too difficult. If any of you want to draw something, I'd say go for it. I'm sorry if I'm being indecisive; but if any of you have free time, it'd be sweet to see your different drawings. Thanks again |

| I've always liked the emag battery pack and the CCM 86* cocker frame, so... Purple is for air, the red is for an LPR hose if you want to pneumag it. It's made for an Automag RT, so for the air supply it uses a cut-down hardline to the rail. Good luck with your senior project, it sounds better than ours if we even have one . Right now all I have to worry about is my junior term paper (being a junior sucks ).Thanks, David
