Piranah SB question

Hi,

I'm purchasing a Piranah SB that is currently set up for back-bottle. I want to take the back bottle off, and I was wondering if i could replace it with the Rear Velocity Adjuster from Palmer's. It says it's only compatible with PGP's and the PMI-1. I've seen Piranah SB's with rear velocity adjusters and I was wondering if this is what they use.

Thanks,
Sean

P.S. Here is the product in question

that could be made to work but you'll need to think how you plan on running the airline.

Yes you can use that..... BUT....

You will need to do some Valve work... the original valve is setup to come off the side for it's air supply...

Depending on if you want to go with a 12 gram in the front lower tube like older models or changing to have a Vertical air setup like modern guns will decide what valve work you would need.... unless you already had that planned out...

Hope that helps a little...

It will fit, but how are you going to run the air? Sidetap to bottomline/remote is the only way.

I was planning on running macro line from the pre-existing hole in the side of the body down to a bottom line. Will that work?

you would most likely need to drill and tap it for 1/8th npt...

actually, you can't run 12 grams in the front of the lower tube on a piranha sb. the chamber is sealed.

what you need to do is tap the side air hole for 1/8 npt and solder an elbow in there and run a hose to a UMB on the bottom of the grip.

Not sure how the airlines were run on this one.

Side track, I know, but this has to be the coolest SB ever. I'd love to have a rva'ed, cocker-slider-framed SB. Love to.

Thats mine. At the moment, it doesn't have a air line on it. What I will be doing is making a new bango fitting for the stock 10-32" side tap, silver solder a hard line to it, then use a compression fitting on the other side to connect it to the phantom VA.
