Tearing up an angel... All in good fun

Well let's start with the idea. I was sitting with my halfassed fbm body with the 05 star frame on it and was thinking about all the guns people have put different frames on. So I was thinking about a ul'ed g7 fly on this forum and was wonder if anyone has used a angel frame on another gun. I love the feel of my a1. So I started ripping it apart to see what it would take to put it on one of my cockers. Okay there is going to be alittle more work and machining involved than I that originally. My question is has anyone heard of some one doing this? Or even any interest in this. This mod is cheaper than buying a dm5 frame for 250. You can get the frame, trigger, grips for 160 bucks new. I have to have a plate made for the trigger relief and magnets. The frame also has to mod'ed to accept the e1 board that I have. The trigger activation tab also has the be mod'ed to fit but it is all realitively straight forward stuff. So is there any interest.

The only mod I've ever seen was an Angel Trigger frame on a tippmann 98. It looked wicked.

Most people arent that interested in a project like that here.

Most of us dont want electro frames on our mechanical autocockers, it just doesnt make sense.

I like angel frames and triggers. You should use an MQ2 valve so you dont have to get the pancake solenoid to fit in the angel frame.

GL.

I love a good mech too. But this is a custom forum and what is being done here is custom. By doing this it just proves the versitility of a cocker from a simple sniper to a crazy mod'ed mech to a custom electro. The way I want to do this is not harmful to the cocker body at all. That way if I ever want to go back I can. It seems that around here there is a double standard on a lot of guns. Electros = bad, ebladed sniper with mq2 = good. I know that there are a few on the board that even though this is an electro that they can respect it and maybe even like it. I put the frame on the body and imho looks great. Anyway no disrespect to anyone on here I still love here compared to the later forums.

Thanks Titus for the post. I dont Believe I have seen that seems interesting though.

I have a few BE Rainmakers with Angel frames. 1 electro, 2 pump (single trigger LCD frames).

I am currently waiting on a project to come back from a certain unnamed Airsmiththat fabricates Madrifles in Tennessee and posts here as Bigmatt-Madcustoms

Lets just say...Angel frames are pretty versitile.....I'll be sure to share when it arrives...Unless he posts pics first.
Of course we do have the running joke that this marker will be like Manikes PGP's and Doc...I am in no rush and he knows it, The man is an artist, let him do his thing right?...

Doc Nickle used to do a bolt on mod of an Angel frame, either LED or the LCD frames to B2ks. i have a personal project of putting a DM frame on a B2k, if i can get someone to do the mill work for me.

mine will involve total body milling, making eye covers, clean up the DM frame to fit better, possibly cut own the tray, and a few other things.

so go for it. Manike did a AGD Z frame on a B2k, so why not? its your piece, and its what you like, so damn the people and full milling speed ahead!
