Is there air coming out of the reg, have you checked the pressure or tried turning it up slowly. Try screwing the reg adjuster all the way in then slowly screw it out while pulling the trigger. Also what lube are you using on your bolt.

The newest problem you mention is usually is one of 2 things. The back cap has unscrewed slightly, or the RAPS ASA pin is not depressing the pin valve of your HPA tank enough. [Try screwing it in farther.]

I'm using a mix of 2/3 Dow 33 and 1/3 paintball gun oil on the bolt, lightly applied to the bolt inside and out, and the inside of the receiver. I tried changing the pressure on the reg from all the way out to all the way in. The bottle is opening, I'm certain of that. The reg is getting air, it just seems that it's not leaving the reg to get into the gun. Is it possible that the piston is stuck? It's lubed with Dow 55. |

Anything is possible, have you tried to take the reg apart and check it out. I would clean and relube everything. Another thing you could do is take the erg off and just try to blow through the macro fitting to see if your breath is making it through the reg. If not then you know the issue is in your reg. Or you can unscrew the reg and then connect it back to the Asa and flip it openslowely, you will know if air is making it through or not.

Dow 55 is designed to swell orings. I would not use it anywhere it is not recommended. Easy way to test the reg putting out air is to unscrew it from the marker but leave the macro on. Turn it where you think it is supposed to be off. Screw in a tank and turn on the ASA. slowly open the reg and you should hear air moving. It could be that your dwell is set too low, assuming that the marker is getting air, and check that you have a good, new battery. |
