You can take the spring out from behind the trigger if you want a softer pull. I got a Tac-8 that doesn't have the spring and it's much softer. I personally prefer the stiffer pull.

Use a clicky pen spring? Never seen a trigger spring for one of those, so I don't know how big around it is, but maybe try that?

The trigger return spring (at least the one directly behind the trigger) is an odd shape that is held in by the pin that attaches the trigger to the trigger arm. The other side simply rests against the trigger frame behind the trigger. Kind of like half of a safety pin.

Seems that T8 springs are cheap enough.

Any answers here yet? I'll certainly go for it if no one else is, but if i can wait and know for sure i think i'll do that.

Did someone say Reg internals?

Alright theories have been confirmed, they do use a stiffer spring. From the looks of it, you might be able to swing a ball pen spring?

(Spring is on the left, look at how much tighter the coils are)

Thanks, that answers my questions for now. I just ordered some stock springs so I'll wait till everything gets here and work on it slowly.

Slow boat to MA is $3.50. That was for 2 of them. Figured I would be prepared to buy another SA-8.

BTW, the wife didn't freak out after all...she just said it was 'ugly' because it was bright blue...LOL...
